What the Critics Say
“While the GT3 and GT3 Touring models are designed to thrill on the world’s most challenging race courses, they’re nearly as supple-riding and easy to live with as the regular 911 when driven on city streets. It’s this dual-purpose nature that makes the GT3 one of our favorite sports cars and why it easily earns a place on the highest pedestal of automotive icons.” – Car and Driver
“The car is built to be light, responsive, confident, and to connect its driver to the machine—just like every other Porsche, but this one is where it all comes from. It’s a pleasure to see how something so eminently capable and communicative becomes even more so with each new generation. Test numbers, the seat of our pants, and the adrenaline coursing through our bodies after driving this car once again back up its pedigree and capabilities.” – MotorTrend

Porsche 911 GT3 Features

Track-Tested Performance
As the benchmark for the development of the next-generation 911 GT3, final testing was conducted at the iconic Nuerburgring-Nordschleife race circuit. Porsche development driver Lars Kern was able to shatter the previous record held by the predecessor by a remarkable 17 seconds, a testament to the groundbreaking engineering of the latest GT3. Positioned above the rear axle is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-6 engine producing a robust 502 horsepower along with 331 lb-ft of torque. You’ll have your choice of either a standard 6-speed manual transmission with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) or an optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) with short gear ratios and sport setup. The GT3 has the ability to rocket from 0 to 60 MPH in a blistering 3.2 seconds, showcasing its athletic performance capabilities. For the ultimate track-focused experience, there is the GT3 RS. This version is built for the track, complete with a factory-installed roll cage. It has active aerodynamics and is even lighter than the GT3. It incorporates everything Porsche has learned from decades of absolutely dominating GT racing.

Precision Handling
Equally as nimble as it is exhilarating, the Porsche 911 GT3 features race-inspired design cues to help you experience razor-sharp agility and handling. Adjustable for use on the track, the GT3 comes standard with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) including ABS with two switchable stages (SC OFF and SC+TC OFF). Lightweight body components constructed with carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and a lightweight stainless steel sport exhaust system work to reduce unsprung weight for greater precision while cornering. Enlarged front air intakes help enhance brake cooling and boost downforce at high speeds. Unique to the GT3, a signature swan-neck rear spoiler further enhances aerodynamics for greater stability at speed.

Driver-Focused Cabin
The race-winning pedigree of the Porsche 911 GT3 is especially evident when you take a seat behind the wheel. Helping to hold you in place is a pair of Sport Seats Plus adorned with the "GT3" logo embroidered on headrests. Personalize the look of the interior even further with a collection of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur elements including a lightweight roof made of exposed carbon fiber, contrast seatbelt colors, and color-coordinated dials for the rev counter and Sport Chrono stopwatch. A Multifunction GT3 sport steering wheel helps respond to your exact steering inputs, critical for high-speed maneuvers on the track. At the press of a button, an exclusive track screen can reduce the main digital display to provide critical information such as oil pressure, oil temperature, and tire pressures in a clear view of the driver. From twisting mountain roads to the front straightaway at the race circuit, the Porsche 911 GT3 remains the quintessential expression of track-bred performance.
