About the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid
Making sizable improvements over both the standard Cayenne and the prior-generation Cayenne E-Hybrid it replaced, the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid defies the notion of what a hybrid-electric SUV is capable of. Its ingenious combination of a 3.0L mono-turbo V6 and electric motor allows this impressive powertrain to deliver exhilarating performance and exceptional fuel efficiency. With the introduction of the Cayenne E-Hybrid lineup, several impressive features have broadened the appeal of the Cayenne lineup. These include a heated windshield, head-up display, massaging seats, and a Porsche-first set of 22-inch wheels. Arriving at the intersection of efficiency and exhilaration, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid take performance to astounding new heights.
What The Critics Say
“With enough electric range for most people to get to work and back without burning a drop of gasoline, plus with the kind of remarkable speed and performance on offer here, it’s a near-perfect package for big spenders who need a little more practicality than the rest of the Porsche lineup.” — Inside EVs
“It was a pleasure to wring out in the Santa Monica Mountains, with the electric motor ever ready to provide a jolt of right-now torque as the boosted six spools into action with a not-unforgettable engine and exhaust note. The overall experience driving the S wasn’t so much better that it would outweigh the E-Hybrid’s ample electric range and lower price.” — AutoGuide
What’s New for 2025
Most of the news involving the updates to the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid relates to new standard equipment now found on all trim levels. Examples of these features include a 360-degree camera, ambient interior lighting, and enhanced cabin air filtration. Revisions to the thrilling Cayenne Turbo E-Hybridare also minor but equally as exciting. These models gain unique wheels, interior accents, and exterior trim pieces finished in an exclusive Turbonite shade reserved for Porsche Turbo models.

Porsche PHEV Powertrain
A 3.0L mono-turbo V6 and electric motor work in tandem to provide the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid with a total system output of 463 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 4.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 158 MPH. An advanced Tiptronic S transmission delivers significantly faster, smoother, and more comfortable shifts. Standard Porsche Traction Management (PTM) offers clear benefits in terms of driving dynamics, agility, traction control and off-road capabilities. Standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) additional confidence across any type of road surface. It will actually hit 60 MPH one-tenth of a second faster than the more expensive and V8-equipped Cayenne S. Still looking for a way to quicken your pulse? The Cayenne S E-Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid blur the lines between thrills and efficiency, producing 512 and 729 horsepower, respectively.

Battery Range & Charging
Positioned in the rear of the chassis underneath the load floor, the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid houses its electric power inside of a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that offers either mixed or electric-only driving. Using solely electric power, the Cayenne E-Hybrid has the ability to travel at speeds up to 83 MPH. Using a 230-volt, 32 amp connection and the optional 11 kW onboard charger, it’s able to recharge a fully drained battery in just 2.5 hours. You’re also able to control and monitor the charging process via Porsche Communication Management (PCM) or remotely by using the Porsche Connect app. Specialized drive modes allow you to effortlessly prioritize efficiency, power, and even a combination of both to match your individual preferences behind the wheel of the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

Interior & Exterior Design Cues
Stylish design accents found on the exterior of the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid include Acid Green brake calipers and matching outlines around all of the badges. Mirroring these unique hybrid accents on the interior, the cabin features Acid Green needles on the Sport Chrono dial and the tachometer as well as hybrid-specific displays in the gauge cluster and within the PCM screen.
