About the Porsche Cayenne
Building on the proven formula that began in 2003, the Porsche Cayenne aims to push performance boundaries even further through technologies that significantly improve on-road performance and comfort. Drivers will have their choice of a variety of individual Cayenne models which are engineered to meet the needs of the most discerning luxury SUV buyers. The Cayenne is now more athletic both in appearance and driving performance thanks to bold styling cues and engineering developments. To complement its modern exterior, the interior carries many of the same design cues and technologies that made their debut on the Porsche Taycan. From paved tarmac to off-road trails, the Cayenne continues to set the standard for the modern midsize luxury SUV through innovative in-vehicle technology, evocative styling, and outstanding performance capabilities.
What the Critics Say
“Porsche describes this upgrade as “one of the most extensive” in the company’s history. Porsche’s heritage comes from the sportier side of the automotive world, so it has made the Cayenne one of the few luxury midsize SUVs to bring genuine driver enjoyment. For those with the funds and the fascination, the new Cayenne is a must-consider.” — Kelley Blue Book
“This mid-size, two-row luxury crossover is unnaturally light on its feet, with chassis tuning derived from over two decades of performance-SUV supremacy. Turbocharged V-6, twin-turbo V-8, and plug-in hybrid powertrains are available, creating a broad lineup of Cayenne variants. All are expressly athletic, with delicate handling that’s a rarity in the SUV marketplace.” — Car and Driver
What’s New for 2025
The biggest news surrounding the 2025 Porsche Cayenne is the triumphant return of the track-inspired Cayenne GTS. Back after a short hiatus, GTS trims feature an enhanced 493-horsepower variant of the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 also shared with the Cayenne S. Other key features of the GTS include a specialized suspension, water-cooled all-wheel drive system, and darkened exterior trim accents. Elsewhere in the lineup, all Cayenne models now come standard with soft-close doors, ambient lighting, Surround View with Active Park Support, and locking wheel bolts.
Porsche Cayenne Features

Performance
The Porsche Cayenne is powered by a 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 producing 348 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from zero to 60 MPH in 5.7 seconds (or 5.4 seconds with the optional Sport Chrono package). The Cayenne S features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that delivers 468 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate to 60 MPH from a standstill in just 4.6 seconds with the Sport Chrono package and continue on toward a top track speed of 170 MPH. There’s also the track-tested Cayenne GTS that cranks out 493 horsepower and 486 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. A responsive eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission is included as standard equipment across the Cayenne line. Standard Porsche Active Suspension Management is able to automatically adjust to the road surface conditions, boosting both comfort and stability. An available Sport Exhaust System provides an evocative soundtrack as you accelerate down the straightaway with your Porsche Cayenne.

Interior
Debuting first on the Taycan, the Porsche Driver Experience further improves the infotainment experience for drivers inside the Porsche Cayenne. The dashboard of the Cayenne is a true technological gem featuring a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch central Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and even an optional 10.9-inch display passenger-side display. Passengers now have the option to stream content and access separate infotainment controls without interrupting the driver. With the gear selector relocated dashboard along with manually adjustable air vent controls and a haptic volume knob in the center stack, ergonomics and comfort have been significantly bolstered compared to the prior generation. An optional BOSE® Surround Sound system delivers concert-like audio quality inside the Cayenne as well. Select the optional optimized head-up display to monitor key drive information without taking your eyes off the road.

Design
While maintaining a strong visual connection to its predecessors, the Cayenne adopts eye-catching design elements that hint at how this generation builds upon its legacy. Enlarged air intakes in the front fascia along with horizontal light edges create a wider, more athletic appearance. Cargo area volume with the rear seats raised provides an impressive 27.3 cubic feet of cargo capacity for all of your essential items. Standard HD Matrix Design LED headlights enhance the visual appeal of the Cayenne while providing illumination with exceptional clarity. Sleek alloy wheels ranging from 20 to 22 inches in size provide the Cayenne with a dominant stance on the road.

Driver Assistance
Another advantage of the Porsche Cayenne is its extensive list of driver assistance technologies, engineered to support and protect the driver. Standard Active Speed Limit Assist incorporates Traffic Sign Recognition when engaging cruise control. Going one step further, optional Adaptive Cruise Control includes Evasion Assist which can help detect and support the driver in an emergency obstruction avoidance maneuver. Turn Assist tracks oncoming traffic when making a left-hand turn at speeds up to 6 MPH and brings the vehicle to a standstill if the potential for a collision is determined. Available Porsche InnoDrive has been bolstered Active Lane Keep and Intersection Assist, providing a helping hand in traffic jams or on highways. In total, these cutting-edge features help keep you one step ahead of danger behind the wheel of your Porsche Cayenne.
