About the Porsche Panamera

It’s been over a decade since the sensational Porsche Panamera burst onto the scene, creating yet another legendary Porsche nameplate in the process. It also created an all-new category: the executive sports sedan. While many imitators have come onto the scene since then, the Panamera reigns supreme, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Porsche engineers. Those engineers have worked hard on a plan of continuous, incremental improvement that keeps the Panamera a step ahead of its competitors.

In fact, the Porsche Panamera features numerous improvements. Standard front and rear Sport Design fascias hint at the race-inspired design elements of the Panamera. Inside the cabin, its Sport steering wheel helps instill a bond between driver and machine while connected tech features keep you both informed and engaged. With the Porsche Panamera, you don’t have to choose between performance, luxury, and safety – it’s all yours for the taking.

What’s New for 2025

Following a significant redesign just last year, the Porsche Panamera returns for 2025 with two new trim levels that are sure to entice potential executive sedan shoppers. The first is the return of the legendary Panamera GTS, equipped with a twin-turbo V8 that cranks out an impressive 493 horsepower. Second is an all-new range-topping variant that’s positioned at the top of the lineup. The all-new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid delivers a jaw-dropping 771 horsepower along with other specialized equipment like an adaptive suspension.

What the Critics Say

“Yes, the Porsche Panamera is a great car. Its powertrain lineup includes V6, V8, and plug-in-hybrid options, and there are no bad apples in the bunch. Few cars this size can match the driving enjoyment the Panamera provides. It’s quick off the line and agile around turns, delivering a relaxing ride all the while.” — U.S. News & World Report

“Despite its length, the Panamera is wonderfully maneuverable, the steering is remarkably precise, and the car corners like a champ, especially when the rear-wheel-steering and torque-vectoring technology come into play.” — Kelley Blue Book

Porsche Panamera Features

Porsche Panamera Performance

Exhilarating Performance

Few executive luxury sedans can match the superlative performance capabilities of the thrilling Porsche Panamera. The Panamera engine lineup consists of potent turbocharged variants along with cutting-edge E-Hybrid powertrains – each infused with quintessential race-inspired Porsche characteristics. Sitting atop the range is the pulse-pounding 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that delivers an astonishing 771 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. Balancing agile handling with superior refinement, the precision-tuned chassis of the Panamera offers the best of both worlds. Available chassis performance features include the Adaptive Air Suspension with three-chamber technology, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport), and Rear-Axle Steering. Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) feature enlarged perforated ceramic brake discs to slow the immense power of the Porsche Panamera. Opt for the iconic Sport Chrono Package and you’ll receive even sportier tuning of the chassis, engine, and transmission.

Porsche Panamera Interior

Sophisticated Interior

In true Porsche fashion, you can completely personalize the interior of your Panamera with dozens of options for equipment, materials, and colors. There are several seat choices available, starting with the standard 14-way electrically adjustable comfort seats. A memory feature is included so that your Porsche is always ready for you when it’s your turn to drive. For maximum comfort, 18-way adjustable adaptive sport seats are optional. Two premium audio systems are available to choose from as well. A 14-speaker, 710-watt BOSE ® Surround Sound System with a separate subwoofer is one of them, or you can select a 21-speaker, 1,455-watt Burmester 3D High-End Surround System with an active 400-watt subwoofer. No matter which interior options you select, you’ll enjoy a massive 12.3-inch center touchscreen and an optional head-up display (HUD).

Porsche Panamera Safety

Innovative Safety & Driver Assistance

Safety doesn’t take a backseat in the Porsche Panamera, although you’re more than welcome to – it’s quite comfortable back there. For all Panamera models, Porsche has moved lane-keeping assist and traffic sign recognition to the standard equipment list. There’s plenty more cutting-edge tech available as well. If safety and technology are high on your personal “most wanted” list, the Panamera has you covered with night vision assist, lane change assist, surround view cameras, and Porsche InnoDrive with adaptive cruise control available as options. Porsche InnoDrive is one of the most advanced adaptive cruise control systems on the market, actively working to optimize your speed and it helps out in traffic jams to reduce driver fatigue. It accomplishes this by scanning the road up to 1.8 miles ahead, executing sophisticated plans to keep you safe during your commute.
